All sequence of stills are shown from bottom to top, with the
caption at the bottom, so a reader can see the action in the same
order the pilot flew and saw the action.
In the bottom photo, this pilot's strafing set off a massive explosion of a ammo
supply, putting a sky full of fire, smoke, debris and still exploded ammo in his face. In
the top two photos he is in a steep pull up to stay clear of it -- but the explosion is too
big and fast and it overtakes him. He and his flight fly badly damaged planes home.
